Angola is located
in south-central Africa and borders Namibia, the Democratic
Republic of the Congo and Zambia, with its west coast on the
Atlantic
Ocean. The exclave province of Cabinda has a border with Republic
of the Congo.
Formerly a Portuguese colony, Angola possesses
substantial natural resources, with oil and diamonds
being the most
significant. The country is nominally a democracy and is formally
named the Republic of Angola.
Mussulo is an island
located in the Atlantic Ocean to the west of Luanda
and is famous for its natural beauty.
